BREAKING NEWS: Donald Trump returns to the White House as your 47th President of the United States.

Just after noon on a crisp January 20, Donald J. Trump once again took the oath of office as the President of the United States. Standing beneath the Capitol dome, the 78-year-old was sworn in by Chief Justice John Roberts, surrounded by a few thousand supporters, First Lady Melania Trump, and his extended family.

Trump, a symbol of American ambition and achievement, has returned to lead the nation—bringing the same drive that defined his business career back to the White House. Now only the second President in U.S. history to serve nonconsecutive terms, he and Vice President JD Vance secured a commanding win in the 2024 general election, capturing both the popular and electoral vote, and sweeping key battleground states.

“The golden age of America begins right now,” President Trump proclaimed in his inaugural address. He went on to affirm, “Our highest priority is building a nation that is proud, prosperous, and free.”

JD Vance

Vice President JD Vance hails from Middletown, Ohio, where he overcame a difficult upbringing marked by financial hardship and family instability. With his mother battling addiction and his father absent, JD found strength and stability through the love and guidance of his grandparents. After graduating from Middletown High School, he went on to serve in the United States Marine Corps, later earning degrees from The Ohio State University and Yale Law School.

In 2022, JD brought his dedication to public service to Washington as a U.S. Senator. In the Senate, he became a vocal advocate for securing the southern border, rebuilding America’s industrial base, and championing the interests of working-class families across the nation.

In 2024, President Donald J. Trump honored JD by selecting him as the Republican Party’s Vice Presidential nominee. Now, as Vice President, JD Vance is proud to stand alongside President Trump in their shared mission to restore American greatness.
